Use with suitable Chemex paper filters.

The Chemex coffee maker is part of the concept of "kitchen as laboratory" utensils by German chemist and inventor Peter Schlumbohm. In 1941, he was inspired in particular by the Erlenmeyer flask, a star of laboratories, to develop the Chemex.
